 One Act Play Auditions: TBD Thursday, November 30, 2023 4:15-8:00 PM. Callbacks: Same day as auditions. Competitive Subsections: Saturday, January 25, 2025 Competitive Sections: Saturday, February 1, 2025 State Competition: Thursday, February 6, 2025 Nova One Act Festival: TBD February 9 & 10, 2025. Cost: $250 (Registration opens after casting) Competitive Team Description - Grades 7-12: Sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League, the One Act Play competitive team competes against other high schools at the Class A level. Cast members must be able to rehearse up to six days per week and perform on all dates listed above. Rehearsals will also be held over winter break. MSHSL eligibility rules apply. Eligibility Information Nova One Act Festival Production Description - Grades 6-12: Directed by senior drama students, these productions are 15-30 minutes in length and are performed at Nova's One Act Play Festival. Rehearsal schedules will be communicated by the directors. Tech week will be held off site at the performance venue the week before performances. Students will be expected to provide their own transportation to the performance venue. |
